Sailing west through the Mediterranean we encountered a lot of floating plastic. On arriving to the Balearic Islands we connected with marine biologist Sergio Ruiz-Halpern to help us understand the pollution. Witnessing microplastics firsthand, we learn about the danger they pose, and what we can do to improve the situation.
